The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI; www.esti.org) recently adopted standards for broadcasting digital television signals to mobile devices. This action has stimulated a number of commercial trials across the world as communications providers move to enter what is expected to be a hot new market. There are even test equipment suites already available for engineers wanting to work on the next trend in communications.
