Mersey Waterfront covers approximately 120kms of coastline. It stretches from Southport to Wirral, bringing in the coastal areas of Liverpool and Halton.
The Mersey estuary covers an area of some 10,000 hectares - that's 20,000 football pitches or 20 times the size of Lake Windermere! Add to that the Cheshire section to the south of the map, and we're looking at around 150km ...
