Mar. 23--WATERBURY, Conn. -- John Tirinzonie, who runs the annual series of career fairs sponsored by the state Department of Labor, knew he had a hit on his hands about a half hour after the doors opened Tuesday.
Close to 200 job seekers walked into the Waterbury Armory on Field Street during the first 30 minutes of the Labor Department's Waterbury career fair, a response that forced Tirinzonie to reconsider his earlier attendance projections.
