APCG Student Paper Awards.(Association of Pacific Coast Geographers)(Brief Article)

THE AWARDS COMMITTEE, under the leadership of Dolly Freidel, presented the following Student Paper Awards at the 66th Annual Meeting held in Portland, Oregon, in September 2003.

The Tom McKnight and Joan Clemons Award for Outstanding Student Paper was presented to Rebecca Davenport, a B.A. student at Sonoma State University, for "Modeling the Risk of Bicycle-Vehicle Collisions in Sonoma County."

The President's Award for Outstanding Paper by a Ph.D. Student was presented to Alex Oberle, Arizona State University, for "Se Venden Aqui: Latino Retail Landscapes and the Hispanic Ethnic Economy in Phoenix, Arizona."
