Denver City, Texas, is not necessarily the first location one would exact to find a state-of-the-art crumb rubber processing facility. In a region better known for cotton farms I and the more than 30,000 oil wells that dot the landscape as far as the eye can see, this West Texas town--population about 3,800--has had no real previous connection to scrap tire processing.
But now the town is home to State Rubber & Environmental Solutions LLC, a company operating what it claims is one of the newest, most sophisticated crumb rubber processing facilities in the United States, and possibly in the world.
