Junior J.P. Gavinski and senior Jason Rector, who helped Wisconsin Dells capture the South Central Conference boys basketball championship, were rewarded by being named to the first team.
Gavinski, a 6-foot-11 center who has orally committed to the University of Wisconsin, made the second team a year ago. Westfield senior Logan Walker, Poynette senior Andy Nelson and Adams-Friendship junior Jason Koehn rounded out the first team.
Poynette, which lost to Cuba City in overtime in a WIAA Division3 sectional semifinal, also placed three players on the second team -- juniors Ryan Schernecker, Ian Roberts and David Nelson.
