According to new research from the U.K.-based Businessinfo.ws, by the close of 2004, U.S. businesses spending on fixed telecom services topped $132 billion, and that dollar amount is expected to surpass $144 billion by 2008. The report, Critical Success Factors for Telecom 2004-2009, concentrated on four vertical industries Businessinfo.ws says accounted for more nearly 60 percent of all corporate spending on telecom services in last year.
