Mar. 25--LOWELL, Mass. -- The historic Commonwealth House bed and breakfast is slated to change hands and become a real estate office, according to prospective buyer Brian McMahon.
McMahon, owner of United Estates Realty at 198 Pine St. in Lowell, had been looking for another Lowell location in which to expand. McMahon, who is in the process of renovating the old Commercial Bank at the corner of Prescott and Central streets, has been an active participant in Lowell's surging real estate market.
