To the general public, it doesn't look like the Cayuga County Arts Council has done much with the Schine Theater.
That's about to change. By the fall, work will begin that will result in opening a portion of the 67-year-old theater to the public.
"Most of what we have done was not visible," said Dia Carabajal, president of the Cayuga County Arts Council. "It looks as if we don't care. That is not the case. We care deeply."
