In our last issue, we explored the mysteries of personal pronouns in "Me, Myself, and I." But sometimes a personal pronoun gets lonely; it wants company. It's time to throw a party and invite him and her and you and them. When two or more personal pronouns get together, it compounds the fun. It can also compound the confusion.
COMPOUND IT!
when you have two or more pronouns in a sentence joined by a coordinating conjunction, they form a compound (a compound subject or a compound object, depending on the role they play in the sentence). Make sure you pair them up correctly, though, or they will end up fighting with other words in the sentence.
