Islamabad March 26 (PPI) The interior ministry and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) have opposed the idea of holding first ever local body polls in the federal capital here this year. Interior ministry in a summary requested the Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to go ahead with present setup in Islamabad by deferring implementation of the devolution plan in the federal capital. National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB) and the interior ministry are at loggerheads on the issue of holding local polls in Islamabad.
