MAYTAG CORP. Two senior executives, both working in the office of the president, left the company Jan. 31, 2005. William L. Beer, executive vice president and a 31-year veteran of Maytag, will conclude his career with the company to pursue personal and other professional opportunities. Thomas A. Briatico, executive vice president, will retire front Maytag after a 30-year career with the company. Both executives were named to the post of executive vice president in June 2004 during Maytag's "One Company" restructuring initiative.
