There is a significant health and safety problem that affects all of us: sleep deprivation.
Some 70 million people in the United States have a sleep problem, and about 40 million of them have a chronic sleep disorder. According to the National Sleep Foundation, the effects of sleep loss on work performance may be costing U.S. employees some $18 billion in lost productivity.
