WASHINGTON, March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Despite increased and innovative recruiting efforts, health care organizations continue to struggle with attracting and retaining critical-skill workers, particularly registered nurses. This is according to a survey of 242 U.S. companies across all industries and a supplemental survey of 55 health care organizations conducted by Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a leading human capital consulting firm.
Nearly three-fourths (74 percent) of the health care organizations are experiencing problems recruiting critical-skill employees to a moderate or great extent. By comparison, only 41 percent of companies in other industries are ...
