STUDENTS HOPE TO FASHION TEEN CENTER; PROJECT FOR BALDWINSVILLE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BE PROMOTED AT TUESDAY'S FASHION SHOW.(Local)

Students at C.W. Baker High School will use a fashion show Tuesday to publicize their goal of creating a teen center in Baldwinsville.

"I don't think a lot of adults see how important it is for us to have a place to go," said sophomore Meghan Coholan, 15.

So, when people from the community attend the show in the high school auditorium, they'll learn more about the teen center project.

Coholan is a member of Students Having the Opportunity to Prove their Potential to Everyone, also known as the SHOPPE Council. The group of about 25 teens wants to create a place where students can mingle without a time restraint, do homework, ...
