Last year, Brazil exported 4.5 MMT of corn. Not a lot of corn ... but it's corn sales the U.S. didn't get!
This year, drought has erased about 3.5 MMT of full-season corn production and the safrinha crop (winter corn production) has already been cut from year-ago by reduced acres and a tough start to the growing season.
As a result, it's now thought Brazil will ...
