Hummer is the only General Motors brand without a certified used-vehicle program. That will change soon.
Hummer plans to begin a certified program in May or June. That's when the brand expects the first of its 3-year-old off-lease SUVs to return to the market.
That time frame also coincides with the launch of the 2006 mid-sized Hummer H3.
Hummer Marketing General Manager Susan Docherty expects the certified program to complement an expanded product line and new retail facilities built by Hummer dealers.
A certified used program is "a key marketing strategy for any premium brand,'' Docherty says.
