Growing up, Ed Evans never imagined that someday he'd be writing scripts for the Disney Channel's top-rated television show, That's So Raven. 'I always liked to make up stories as a kid," Ed, 35, tells Choices. "But I never thought I'd become a sitcom writer."

As a child, Ed used his creativity to invent scenarios and plotlines with his toys. It was also a time that he started to write for fun. "When I was bored, my dad would get notebooks and tell me to write stuff about what I did at school or how my weekend was," Ed says. He got more practice by sending letters to his grandmother who lived in Jamaica.
