Over the past four years, fewer employees got a fully paid ride to executive MBA programs from their companies, according to the Executive MBA Council. But as the economy recovers, some observers predict employers will offer more tailored educational perks, and workers will have access to additional executive programs.
"Employer sponsorship of executive MBA students will improve as the economy improves," says Maury Kalnitz, chairman of the board of trustees for the Executive MBA Council. The number of students in executive MBA programs fully sponsored by their employers has dropped from 55% in 2000 to 45% in 2004, Kalnitz notes. The students receiving no help ...
