LAGRANGE, Ga.-If there was only one word to describe the way Milliken Carpet runs its business, it would be green.
The area rug and carpet manufacturer has implemented policies and procedures over the years that have made its business eco-friendly, such as reducing office paper waste, adjusting the sizes of commercial modular carpet and certifying its factories to some of the highest environmental standards. "This has been a core philosophy of our company since we were founded in 1865; it's been a part of who we are and will continue to be throughout the future," said Bill Gregory, Milliken's director of sustainable strategies.
