While you are waiting for the start of the Cubs' 2005 baseball season, you can get your kicks with a virtual visit to the "new" Wrigley Field.
Go to www.cubs.com and take a quick Internet trip around the future ballpark, which is going to be a bit more of a ball-mall by the time the Cubs are done with it.
The Cubs on Thursday placed architects' drawings of the new design for Wrigley Field on their Web site following the agreement on the designs earlier in the week with the city of Chicago. The plans, similar to those announced last summer, indicate updated surroundings on almost all sides of the historic ballpark.
