LUKASHENKO SAYS HE WON'T LET COLOUR REVOLUTIONS OCCUR IN BELARUS

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that there will be no revolutions in Belarus.

"There will be no revolution in Belarus. One can overthrow Lukashenko quite easily, but only in an election," the head of state told the press on Friday.

"In 2006 you may come to the elections with people and overthrow Lukashenko, electing somebody else, and I will agree to that," the president noted.
