Oh, look. It's a stylish medicine cabinet. You don't see many of these in designer showhouses or builder's models. Too bad.
Instead, the traditional vertical units with a few narrow shelves hidden behind a little mirrored door have been replaced by really big mirrors in fat, fancy frames or by a huge swath of unframed mirror bolted right to the bathroom wall over the sink. Drawers and cupboards below have had to be the place for cotton balls and pill bottles.
And, yet, the old-style medicine cabinet was undeniably handy. The shelves were adjustable to accommodate a few tall bottles, and they were narrow -- just wide ...
