South Korea-based LG Electronics will use MasterCard as its corporate payment card, Purchase, NY-based MasterCard International announced today. LG is the first Asian company to implement the MasterCard Multinational Corporate Program and joins such other international companies as Dell, Chevron, GE and GlaxoSmithKline. The MasterCard program allows LG Electronic to manage expenses for its headquarters and 74 world offices in 39 countries with one system, as well as compare and track expenses from various offices, MasterCard says.
