THREE goals in a seven-minute spell, inside the final quarter-of-an hour, settled this tight Nationwide Conference North fixture in favour of the title-chasing Southport.

It leaves Vauxhall Motors still hovering just above the relegation places.

After a brisk start by the visitors and a smart save by Motors' keeper Tim Dittmer at the feet of Daly, Vauxhall might well have gone in front before the break, as they carved out three good openings.
