Tim Wiens and Lowe Enterprises on Monday unveiled plans for a $350 million development along U.S. 36 that would serve as the "gateway to Broomfield," with 1,200 condominium and apartment units and 600,000 to 800,000 square feet of retail space planned over the next five years.
The development on 206 acres is called Arista. When Wiens, a banker and real estate investor, acquired 138 acres of the site in 2001, it was called Park 36.
