There were many new products in atomic spectroscopy at Pittcon; however, none addressed atomic absorbance, the most traditional technology in this area. The active areas of product development matched the active areas of the market, namely XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence), TOC (Total Organic Carbon) and other elemental analyzers.
Bruker AXS showed off some new XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) components that contribute to its XRD (2) line of two-dimensional diffractometers.
