ORLANDO, Fla., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kathleen M. Waltz, president, publisher and CEO of Orlando Sentinel Communications, today announced the appointment of Avido Khahaifa as senior vice president and general manager of the company. Khahaifa currently is the South Florida Sun-Sentinel's vice president/managing director for Palm Beach County and president of Forum Publishing Group. Both the Orlando Sentinel and South Florida Sun-Sentinel are Tribune Publishing newspapers. Khahaifa will join Orlando Sentinel Communications on May 2, 2005.
