CUPERTINO, Calif., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Apple Computer Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: AAPL) today announced that its Apple Macintosh Centris computer line and System 7 software received awards from two leading computer industry publications.
Macintosh Centris Recognized
For the first time, an Apple Macintosh personal computer has received PC Week magazine's product of the week award. Apple's new midrange 68040-based Macintosh Centris line, introduced on Feb. 9, 1993, was recognized by PC Week Labs for its aggressive price/performance ratio. PC Week applauded the Centris line's combination of speed, flexibility and affordability.
