TYRONE county board chairman Pat Darcy has come out strongly against any moves to scrap Rule 42 and open up Croke Park to soccer and rugby.

Darcy has decided to air his views as the balance of power has shifted dramatically towards the 'yes' camp over the past week.

Tipperary's ground-breaking decision to support Motion 25 on the official Congress Clar was a huge boost to GAA President Sean Kelly and Meath, Waterford, Donegal, Offaly and Kildare have all followed suit.
