NEW YORK, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- World Cup '94 Marketing and News America FSI, Inc. announced today an agreement in principle to publish a major themed promotion in June 1994 centered around the 1994 FIFA World Cup soccer championship. 
The "World Cup '94 Soccer Savings Spectacular" promotion will include a national free standing insert (FSI) with consumer cents-off coupons and a sweepstakes tied to the 1994 FIFA World Cup that will be distributed to 55 million U.S. homes through Sunday newspapers.  In addition, the World Cup promotion will also be featured in a Spanish- language FSI targeting 3.5 million U.S. Hispanic households.
