I received a call from an engineering friend regarding the hot water requirements for a design they were completing. He was most familiar with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), but he said that it appears that the jurisdiction will be switching to the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Knowing which jurisdiction it was, I informed him that it appears that they will remain on the UPC, so he should just stick to following those requirements.
