SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2003, the City of Santa Monica obtained a landmark settlement, valued at more than $300 million, in a drinking water pollution case it filed against more than a dozen oil companies. The City was represented in the case by its nationally recognized outside attorneys, but has chosen not to pay them. Marshall B. Grossman, a name partner at the Santa Monica firm Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan LLP, will plead the attorneys' case before the Santa Monica City Council on Tuesday, April 12, at the regularly scheduled meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is held in the Council Chamber, 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica, ...
