Article: CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES, DOLPHIN CRUISE LINE AND EPIROTIKI LINES ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT TO OPERATE VESSEL IN EUROPE

 
MIAMI, March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Carnival Cruise Lines, Inc. (NYSE: CCL) today announced that it had signed a memorandum of agreement to sell its cruise ship, the TSS Mardi Gras, to a new company to be formed by Epirotiki Lines, Miami-based Dolphin Cruise Line and Carnival. Each cruise line will have a one third interest in the new company.  The transaction is expected to close in early September. 
Under the agreement, the vessel, which will be renamed the Olympic, will be deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean and operated by Epirotiki.
