TOKYO, April 8 Asia Pulse - Daishinto Inc. (TSE:9785) is expected to report a 26.4 billion yen (US$243.1 million) group net loss for fiscal 2004 due in part to heavy property appraisal and other extraordinary losses.
The net loss is some 3 billion yen more than Daishinto's earlier forecast .
Sales are estimated to have declined 3 per cent to 34.52 billion yen. Its leisure business, which had generated more than 2.8 billion yen in sales in fiscal 2003, was sold in December, leaving Daishinto with only about 2 billion yen in fiscal 2004 sales from that operation.
Sales in the subcontract management business apparently remained nearly unchanged.
