ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- A high-speed, narrow- format laser plotter that offers Adobe PostScript Level 2 printing was announced today by Xerox Engineering Systems.
The Xerox 8812 Laser Plotter has an embedded RISC-based controller that increases plotting speed and continuous throughput by as much as three times over its predecessor, the Xerox 8810. Up to 15 A-size and eight B-size plots from D- and E-size engineering drawings can be produced in one minute. The resolution of the output is 400 points per inch (ppi).
The 8812 also addresses the need for desktop publishing capabilities. With the push of a button, it offers PostScript Level 2 printing. ...
