ISLAMABAD, Apr 8: In order to resolve the residential woes of government employees government has allocated Rs 900 million for giving residences to government employees of lower pay scale with ownership rights, said Syed Safwanullah federal minister for Housing and Construction.
Talking to newsmen here on Friday, he said Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz would inaugurate the housing scheme on April 11.
He pointed out that 240 houses will be given to the employees ranging from BPS 14 to 16, 312 houses will be given to employees of BPS 7 to 13 and 448 houses will be given to employees from BPS 1 to 6 through a draw scheme.
