AUSTIN, Texas -- Manufacturers are now able to leverage ZigBee technology in sensing and monitoring applications thanks to the world's first single-source ZigBee (TM)-compliant platform from Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE:FSL) (NYSE:FSL.B). TUV Rheinland of North America, a designated independent testing and assessment service of the ZigBee Alliance, confirmed Freescale's platform conforms to the IEEE(R)802.15.4 standard and the ZigBee specification.
