Article: AIG Launches Homers for Kids Program with New York Mets; Program To Support Youth Charities Throughout New York.

NEW YORK -- American International Group, Inc. (AIG) today announced the launch of the AIG Homers For Kids program to benefit New York-based youth charities. For every home run the New York Mets hit at Shea Stadium in 2005, AIG will donate $250 to a designated youth charity.

AIG will select a new charity for each of the Mets' 26 home series. During the Mets' season-opening home series against the Houston Astros, AIG will contribute to the New York Police & Fire Widows'& Children's Benefit Fund, Inc., which was established by former Met Daniel "Rusty" Staub in 1985. For the following two home series, AIG will donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City ...
