CAMILLA publicly announced herself as the new Princess of Wales on her wedding day.
Though she has insisted that she will never use Diana's old title, her choice of jewellery sent out a starkly different message.
She wore a diamond-encrusted white gold brooch showing a crest of three feathers, the Prince of Wales's official insignia.
It was pinned prominently to her lapel as she arrived for the civil wedding service at Windsor Guildhall.
