Michael O. Connaughton, a lawyer who spent most of his career practicing in Prince George's County, died April 9 at his Annapolis home after a long battle with leukemia. He was 62.
A lifelong Marylander, Mr. Connaughton was born in Langley Park. He graduated from High Point High School, where he was an All-Metro quarterback on the football team.
He earned a law degree from the University of Maryland Law School in Baltimore in 1968, after graduating from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Mr. Connaughton began his legal career as a staff lawyer with the federal Department of Agriculture. His ...
