The Kills would be a great rock 'n' roll band if only they really were a band.
The spare and sexy duo generated enough heat on Sunday night to make for a memorable show. But it also gave you one more reason to hate whoever invented the drum machine.
On disc, the Kills are a raw fusion of primitive garage rock and electronica. Onstage they're at least twice as loud. Guitarist/singer Jamie "Hotel" Hince emerged as one of indie rock's new guitar heroes, fueling the songs with brutally distorted riffs and solos. His partner, singer Alison "W" ...
