The CEO of Belgian telecomms group, Belgacom, has said that the company is still looking to expand abroad, despite losing out on a stake in the Czech republic's Cesky Telecom.
The loss of Cesky Telecom to Spain's Telefonica, was the latest in a series of attempts by Belgacom to expand outside of its domestic market. In 2003 it failed to secure a partnership with Vivendi Universal in a bid to acquire a bigger stake in French telecomms operator, Cegetel, and in ...
