15 will pay special tribute to Jackie Robinson as part of the 
second annual Jackie Robinson Day. 
 
In March 2004, Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig 
established Jackie Robinson Day throughout Major League 
Baseball. Every Club playing at home on April 15 will honor 
the legacy of Robinson, who, on April 15, 1947, became the 
first player to break the Major League color barrier.
