Apr. 14--Squirrel Hill might have a high-income reputation, but more moderate household incomes in southern sections of the East End neighborhood have helped it land a federally funded community health center.
The Squirrel Hill Health Center was one of 105 new health centers that received funding this week from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as part of a plan to improve access to care in areas that lack doctors.
