Apr. 14--DOVER -- Manufactured housing residents demonstrated outside Legislative Hall on Wednesday to solicit support for changes in state law they say will better protect them.
The Delaware Manufactured Housing Association is pushing to create an independent board to resolve disputes between tenants and landowners.
Under the proposal, residents could bring complaints about rent increases to the Delaware Board of Manufactured Housing.
To be eligible for review, the rent hike would have to exceed the growth of the consumer price index and affect at least one-third of a park's residents.
