Children visiting the East Syracuse Free Library April 21 will get more than a story.
The library will host the DeWitt Police Department's Digital Child Identification Program from 10 a.m. until noon. The program is sponsored by the Eastwood-East Syracuse Kiwanis Club.
The usual Thursday story hour will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the Kiwanis will supply snacks for the children, said librarian Mary DePietro , who also is secretary of the club. The library is at 4990 James St., East Syracuse, near East Syracuse Elementary School. All parents are welcome to bring children, she said.
