A LEADING pensions action group plans to contest Chancellor Gordon Brown's seat at the general election in an attempt to raise concerns about the " savings timebomb" facing Britain's workforce.
The Evening Standard has learned that Pensions Theft has already sent a representative to Scotland to finalise its bid to field a candidate in Dunfermline East early next week.
Brown will most likely be opposed by Pat Sargent, a grandmother who lost her pension when Hertfordshire storage firm Dexion went into administration two years ago.
