At schools large and small, teachers who are positively influencing the lives of young people will be given an A+ in honor of National Teacher's Day, which is Tuesday, May 4. In conjunction with Phi Delta Kappa International, a national professional education association, Wal-Mart and SAM'S CLUB associates at every location nationwide will announce a local honoree in Wal-Mart's ninth annual Teacher of the Year program. In many cases these outstanding educators will be surprised with a special ceremony.
