Article: Entergy Charitable Foundation Awards More Than $965,000 to Benefit Community Organizations.

The Entergy Charitable Foundation recently awarded more than $965,000 in grants to benefit nonprofit organizations throughout the Entergy system that emphasize education, literacy and low income issues.

These awards mark the completion of the Foundation's first funding cycle for 2004. "Entergy is committed to giving back to the communities that are responsible for our success," said Horace Webb, Entergy Charitable Foundation president and CEO. "Through the Entergy Charitable Foundation, we hope to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve."
